Deuteronomy 5:29 Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever.
Whatever we do, whether good or bad, affects us and our children. So if we live a worldly life our children will not see the value of a close relationship with God. Likewise, if we read God’s Word daily and follow God, our children will see and most likely follow our example.
